What plate does the ICT test fixture use?

    Update time:2019-06-05 17:09:15

It is no stranger to mention many ICT test fixtures. Although we all know that ICT test fixtures are mainly used for testing, it is not used by many people to know what plates to use. In order to let us know better and Using ICT test fixtures, today's small series to introduce us to the plates used in ICT test fixtures.

The plates selected for use in ICT test fixtures generally include acrylic (plexiglass), epoxy resin sheets, and the like. The general test fixture has a probe hole larger than 1 mm. The primary plate of this type of fixture is plexiglass. The first reason is that the price of plexiglass is low. When a relatively soft hole is drilled, there is a combination of expansion and contraction probe sleeve and hole. Tight, transparent fixtures are easy to see if problems arise.

However, the general plexiglass is prone to melting and breaking the drill bit during the drilling, which is characterized by the hole diameter of less than 0.8 mm, and the epoxy hole plate is generally used when the hole diameter is less than 1 mm. It is not easy to break the drill bit, and its resistance and rigidity are good. The epoxy resin plate does not expand and contract. Therefore, if the hole diameter is not accurate, the probe sleeve and the hole will be loose and shaken.

If the epoxy resin board is opaque, if the problem of the fixture is difficult to view, the temperature difference of the other plexiglass is larger than that of the epoxy resin board. If the density of the test is very high, the epoxy resin board should be selected.

The above is the plate used in the ICT test fixture. In fact, the selection of the plate and the accuracy of the drilling play a key role in the accuracy of the entire test fixture. Therefore, it is recommended to select the plate according to your own needs, and not to look at the price.
